About Me

Dairy-free living was my norm growing up because my siblings and father and I all shared a severe dairy allergy. It was during special celebrations that the absence of dessert became especially noticeable. So, I started baking at home—for myself and my dairy-free family. I realized we were not alone. More and more people were dealing with food allergies and sensitivities—whether to dairy, gluten, eggs, or sugar. Even with the growing availability of specialty ingredients, I saw that finding YOUR favorite treat—like my personal favorite, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting—was still a challenge.

What started as a personal journey to recreate my family's favorite desserts became a passion to bake everyone's favorites—regardless of dietary needs or restrictions. It was that passion that inspired me to start Cakes Your Way and bring YOU desserts that uniquely fit your way - whether that's dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan, keto, egg-free, or any other way. While I emphasize anything but the traditional dessert, I love a chance to elevate a traditional dessert experience and craft a gourmet flavor that isn't modified.

 Desserts are a symbol of celebration — and my purpose is simple: to ensure everyone has a place at the table when life is being celebrated.
